My old site had some good stuff on it but was really showing it’s age so I decided to start from scratch with this one. I’ll be adding some of my older posts on here but most of the content I plan to add going forward will mostly cover SharePoint, WordPress, perhaps even some Shopify stuff.
I’ve been working for a community college for the past 10 years and everything we use for both our public and intranet sites runs on SharePoint. Needless to say, I’ve gained a ton of experience with SharePoint but more importantly, figured out a lot of ways to work around things that SharePoint tends to be ultra painful about. To my knowledge I’m one of the very few left that run a public-facing web site on SharePoint. So if you are one of those few others out there running SharePoint on-prem that’s using anonymous access, turned out to the outside world, I’d love to hear from you. Maybe we can help each other out?
Outside of that, I have about 3 to 4 other web projects going on at all times. I hope to share a few helpful gems of knowledge out of what I’ve learned there over the years, as well. I know there’s not much on the new site now but I believe I’ll have a bunch more on here in the months to come so stay tuned!
